Each treatment begins with a professional skin assessment to determine the ideal peel strength and type for your skin type and goals. We offer light, medium, and advanced clinical peels from trusted medical-grade lines to ensure both safety and visible results.

You will meet with our Nurse Practitioner for a free skin consultation and create a plan made for YOUR skin type.

How is a chemical peel performed?

First your skin will be thoroughly cleansed. Your peel will then be applied to the skin in layers. The fine layers are allowed to slowly penetrate into the skin, causing a slight tingling sensation. The entire process takes about 30 minutes. The skin may have some immediate redness and then may flake or peel over the next 3-5 days, revealing younger fresher looking skin. After completion of the peel, serums will be applied and you will go home with a take home kit to use the next several days.

What should I do before and after my peel?

No alpha hydroxy products or retinoids such as Retin A or Renova, or any products containing acids for 7 days prior to your peel.
No sun exposure for 10 days prior to your peel.
No tanning for 2-3 weeks prior to your peel.
Avoid all electrolysis, waxing, depilatory laser, or IPL treatments for 14 days prior to your peel.
No collagen, Restylane, or Botox for 7 days prior to your peel.

After your Chemical Peel

Avoid water on the treated area for 24 hours after your peel.
Use a sunscreen with SPF 20-45 with zinc or titanium oxide daily for at least 2 weeks.
No tanning for 2-3 weeks after your peel.
You may experience varying degrees of peeling. Do not use an exfoliant for at least 7 days.
Do not pick any areas of blistering or crusting.
You can expect redness that could last up to 2 days.

Chemical Peel for Acne

Clarify and calm breakout-prone skin with our PCA Skin® chemical peels formulated to target acne and congestion. There are two peels for acne:

1. Acne Peel- this peel is best for mild acne and congested skin. It clears and decongests pores. It provides immediate reduction in sebum and maintains a balanced complexion.

2. Acne Plus Peel- this peel is best for moderate to severe acne. Improves signs of noticeable signs of acne in 1 peeling session. It has a 28% reduction of pustules, 48% reduction in papules. Improves redness and uneven tone.
